About The Author
Bob Oedy is an award-winning author best known for his nonfiction writing. In 2019 he won the Beverly Hills Book Award “Careers” category for The Million Dollar Organizer. Oedy is a founding member of The Grim started in 1982. The Grim were inducted into the Ventura County Music Awards Hall of Fame in 2017. As well as being the band’s long-term guitarist, Oedy went on to found punk rock band Glue Gun. His song Cop Killer appeared in the punk slasher movie The Ranger. Oedy is an international union organizer. He graduated from the National Labor College in Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Labor Studies. He completed a four-year union apprenticeship program with perfect attendance. He also holds an Associate in Science Degree in Electronics from Pierce College. Oedy is a proud parent to five young adults and lives with his wife Leslie in Winnetka, CA. His hobbies are promoting punk shows, podcasting, and kite flying.
